Frances and Sean Conversation with Rev. Dr. Lindsay Armstrong

A graduate of Princeton and Columbia Theological Seminaries and a highly decorated senior leader of both churches and nonprofits, the Reverend Dr. Lindsay Armstrong delights in the church, in unleashing potential, and in amplifying the voices of underheard leaders and communities. To date, Lindsay has pastored 4 churches and helped catalyze over 70 new worshiping communities. In her capacity as the chief executive officer of the New Church Development Commission (NCDC), the start-up studio of the Presbytery of Greater Atlanta, she currently works with 42 leaders and 35 new worshiping communities. When away from church, Lindsay relishes the chance to hike, bike, kayak, explore, make wine, or cheer on the Atlanta United MLS soccer team. Dr. Armstrong lives in Decatur, GA with her husband The Reverend Dr. Mark Douglas, Professor of Christian Ethics at Columbia Theological Seminary, their daughter Logan, dog Sammy, and a turtle named Ralph.
